About Us

Technics Purpose

We are dedicated to empowering our clients by delivering customised solutions that improve their project results. Our focus on quality, innovation, and employee well-being drives us to set the industry benchmark and contribute to a safer, more efficient world.

Our People

We believe our people are our biggest asset. We don’t just invest in the latest equipment; we place real importance on investing in our people. Our continued investment in training, including advanced survey methods and new technology, means our clients have access to an expert team.

We’re proud of the people behind Technics, so please visit our Meet the Team page to get to know them better.

The leading names in property and infrastructure trust us because we offer more than just a service. At Technics, we don’t just send our clients the data; our experienced surveyors are on hand to interpret and translate the results and offer the advice our clients need.

Customer Focus

Meeting our clients’ requirements is at the heart of what we do at Technics. Listening to our client’s needs is the first step in delivering a successful project. We work closely with our customers to ensure we fully understand their projects and tailor our approach to match their brief.

Reliable

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, reliable data to our customers. This ensures that projects stay on track, risks are minimised, and clients have no surprises during excavation and construction.

We adopt efficient and accurate working methodologies following industry best practices, and our in-house Quality Assurance team checks and verifies all data before issue. Our clients trust us to provide the correct information the first time, and we can confidently say we do just that.

Comprehensive Solution

We’ve developed a comprehensive solution with a proactive team that enjoys the challenge of getting the right data the first time. From topographic and measured building surveys to utility detection and vacuum excavation… the team at Technics can do it all, saving you the hassle of dealing with multiple suppliers.

Experience

We have more than 30 years’ experience providing high-quality consulting and surveying services and we carry out more than 1,000 projects a year across a wide range of industries. We are an approved supplier at Heathrow for multiple Tier 1 suppliers, including Kier and Balfour Beatty. We are also an approved supplier for Ringway and Surrey County Council on Major highway schemes.

Credible

We are a safe pair of hands who you can trust to deliver. We are accredited by the likes of ICES, The Survey Association and Constructionline, but we do not view our accreditations as badges. Instead, we take an active involvement in shaping the industry and its standards. Our founder, Graham Mills, was a former President of The Survey Association (TSA), and Technics supported the development of the first PAS 128 specification for underground utilities. We are also proud of our role as one of the industry partners involved in the drafting of the original Essential Guide to Utilities Surveys.

Please, don’t just take our word for it… here’s a selection of feedback we have received from clients over the years.
