Technics receive Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme
Admin : Published Updated
Technics’ capability to supply products and services to the high standard required for the rail industry has been recognised by the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS). The qualification analyses the management of areas such as delivery, safety and quality in the rail industry and ensures Technics provides the quality and knowledgeable service its clients require.
RISQS (formally Link-Up) is a service for the qualification of suppliers for all products and services that are used by the rail industry. This service, run by Achilles, supports rail companies, train operators, infrastructure contractors and service providers to manage their supply chain risk.
John Macintyre, Managing Director, at Technics said; “We are delighted with this RISQS qualification which will create further opportunities for our team of surveyors in the rail sector. With our experience of working on the London Bridge and Paddington Station schemes we see this as a major step forward in providing professional services in multiple sectors for our clients.”
