Winter Walk Challenge Raises Funds for Challengers

Technics Winter Walk

Throughout November, the Technics & Earth Environmental & Geotechnical team came together and took part in a Winter Walk Challenge, a month-long initiative encouraging staff to stay active during the colder months while raising money for Challengers, a charity that supports disabled children and young people through inclusive play and leisure opportunities.

The goal was to get outdoors, stay active, and work together as a team to rack up as many steps as possible through their pedometer apps or fitness trackers.

Now, after four weeks of collective effort, we’ve logged a total of 5,516,647 steps which is approximately 4,300 kilometres, equivalent to the distance of 12 full round-trips between from our offices in Guildford and Stockport!
