Ordinance Survey plans used by the Land Registry only show general boundaries for properties and are often not detailed enough to provide conclusive analysis of property lines. In most dispute scenarios, expert determination and mediation is often recommended by the courts before a case will be heard.
The appointment of an independent surveyor is advisable to analyse deed plans, Land Registry documents and any other relevant information. We can prepare a report that in many cases is used to settle a dispute without the need for a costly court case.
