Technics Group Team Day hits the target - Technics Group

As a thank you to our team for their hard work over the past few months we took them all to a Country Estate in Surrey. Under the glorious sunshine we started with a plentiful barbecue before taking turns on the two gun clay pigeon shoot. The shooting brought out everyones competitive side and sharp shooter of the day went to Utility Surveyor Jak Harper, proving that he is not just good at finding targets below the ground!

As a surprise we then rolled out a Rarden Armoured Personnel Carrier complete with 30mm gun. This rare 1963 tank became the star attraction and everyone not only got to ride on it but they also drove at full speed around a large field. Proper boys toys you would think however the ladies clearly demonstrated that ‘Girls just want to have fun’!

The day was nicely finished off by driving the tank to the local pub. A big thank you to Project Manager Sam Lucking and his team for organising the day. Roll on the next one…
