Supporting Innovate Guildford 2019

On Saturday 23rd March, Graham Mills and Rob Murrain-Field represented Technics by exhibiting at the science and arts festival Innovate Guildford. Held at G Live, the event is a free one-day event showcasing advanced technologies and giving an insight into the amazing knowledge, innovation and creativity in the region.

Aimed at all ages, members of the public have a chance to speak to local companies and organisations and to see and use first-hand the technologies that they offer. The event is a great opportunity to show the local community the technologies that we use to measure and map the world. Most of all, we love that young children get a chance to use our laser scanners and explore a 3D building model. When we tell them that what we do is like Minecraft for grow ups they get it!
