Technics Training – Level 3 QCF Certificate

The Level 3 QCF Certificate is an essential requirement for our trainee surveyors, mandated as the minimum requirement to carry out excavation works at several UK sites including Heathrow Airport and the qualification standard required to undertake PAS128 compliant surveys.

Technics invests in its team to help and support them to progress in their career, while providing clients with the best, most skilled team to assist on their projects.

Recently, three of the junior team undertook the course, including James Cameron, who since completing it has been promoted from trainee surveyor to junior surveyor.

As a surveyor, it’s essential to have Level 3 training to work on site and perform competently. By receiving this certification, James and the team have made significant progress in their career development.

The Level 3 QCF Certificate takes place across five-days and goes into depth on utility detection using electromagnetic methods. The course is run by CSTA and is recognised as a worldwide standard. It involves a health and safety element, theory section and in the field training that provides the team with hands on experience on complex scenarios.

James, said, β€œThe certificate allows me to be more confident in work practices and how I go about them. One of the best things about achieving this qualification is that it demonstrates a certain level of understanding and capability of high-level surveying, that Technics can then seek to refer to current and potential clients.”
