Success in Excellence for Technics
Technics recently attended the Construction Computing Awards at The Radisson Blu Edwardian in Bloomsbury, London. It is pleased to announce it won an award as part of ‘Team of 2017’ with the UKBIM Alliance, for digitally transforming the Construction and Infrastructure sectors.
The award was announced at the black-tie event by Chris Cowdrey, former England cricket captain.
As part of our industry engagement, Technics is committed to helping drive the digital transformation of the built environment through collaboration and whole life-cycle digital asset management. The UKBIMA Executive Team, of which Martin Penney – Director at Technics – is Vice Chair, aims to bring the digital (BIM) community together and provide leadership and guidance.
Martin Penney said: “Being part of the UKBIM Alliance enables Technics to play a key part in the industry and ensures that the vital role that survey and asset geometry data plays is at the forefront of the digital environment. It also means that Technics keeps abreast of current thinking and methodology and is strategically aligned with the built environment in these exciting but challenging times.”

Graham Mills said: “We are delighted to be recognised for the good work we are doing in taking the industry forward and in setting the standards in geospatial and digital.”
Technics provides industry consultancy on acquiring and the appropriate use of geometry data and asset management, and provides a wide range of terrestrial and below-ground data formats.
