When locating the utilities running through a site, not every project will require an in-depth, comprehensive search to be conducted. For projects that require a quick snapshot of the main services in the area, we have introduced the Essentials Report.

essential reportThe Essentials Report utilises the capabilities of our Utility Reporting service to provide a clear, concise picture of the core utilities running through your site.

The services covered by the Essentials Report are:

  • Potable water pipes
  • Sewer pipes
  • Electricity cables
  • Gas pipes
  • BT cabling, both below and above ground

Finding contact details for the suppliers of these services can be laborious; some even require accounts to be set up just to access their data. We take the pain out of this process by contacting these suppliers on your behalf.

Your report will be presented in a professional, easy to read PDF format that clearly outlines which utilities affect your site and which do not. Supplier correspondence and plans will be clearly presented, providing you with peace of mind before carrying out your works.

Full Utility Report

The Essentials Report is just one part of the Utility Reporting service. For those sites that require more detail, we offer the Full Utility Report, where we will contact an average of 70 suppliers to ensure that they do not have plant running underneath your site. This ensures that you are made aware of all services which may be affected by your works, giving you complete peace of mind before you begin. This report is also presented in a clear, professional PDF format, with all supplier information neatly presented.

CAD Digitising 

When you have dozens of suppliers’ plans in can become confusing trying to understand what services affect which part of your site. We can take this hassle away from you by digitising each supplier plan and overlaying them onto OS base mapping. This provides a fully customisable picture of your site with interactive layers for each utility, available in both CAD and PDF formats.
