Technics strengthens its team with four new appointments

Technics has appointed four new members across the company as part of its plans for growth and dedicated investment to the industry’s next generation. Kevin Durkan, Sam Ward and Rob Murrian-Field join the land and building survey department and Jessica Sheridan joins the utility mapping department.

Kevin Durkan1With over six years’ experience in the industry Kevin Durkan joins the team as a surveyor where he will work alongside the land and building survey department. He has an HNC in Civil Engineering and a BSc in Surveying and Mapping Sciences with previous experience in topographical, elevation and measured building surveys working on high profile construction sites across the UK. He says: “I am delighted to be joining Technics and very much looking forward to working with the team.”

 

 

sw croppedSam Ward joins our land and building survey department as a trainee surveyor where he will receive full training in measured building surveys, topographic surveys, setting out, GPS, laser scanning and 3D modelling. Sam said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Technics team and to be part of an extensive training and development programme offered by the expert and knowledgeable team. Technics is passionate in ensuring each team member has the knowledge and experience to provide the quality and thorough service to its clients for which it is recognised.”

 

Rob MF croppedRob Murrain-Field joins as a junior land surveyor. He has a range of experience in the industry having previously worked with the Environmental Agency where he was responsible for planning survey operations and logistics. He will be responsible for measured building surveys, setting out and topographical surveys. He said: I’m excited to be joining Technics and am looking forward to getting started on its latest projects, growing with the company and making the most of the opportunities that the company offers as part of its training package. I feel that my previous surveying experience and hard work ethic will fit in well with the Technics family.”

 

JessJessica Sheridan has joined our utility mapping department as a trainee surveyor where she will gain an understanding of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), electromagnetic’s, drainage, topographical survey techniques and office survey data processing in both 2D and 3D formats. She said: “My aim is to draw on the knowledge I gained from my degree to develop new skills relevant to this industry. It is a privilege to be working with and learning from such a welcoming and supportive team of surveyors who believe in training its staff to the highest level to provide clients with the support they need. I look forward to being part of the growing success of the company.”
