Senior appointment boosts Technics Utility team

Technics has appointed Jon Bottomley as Senior Utility Surveyor; this appointment is a return to Technics for Jon having spent his early career as a trainee utility surveyor with the company.

Jon said: “I’m delighted to be returning to Technics. I’m looking forward to getting started on its latest projects, using my skills and experience in the industry to help strengthen the team as part of its growth plans.”

John Macintyre, Managing Director, said: “It’s excellent to see Jon return to the company. He will be a great addition to the team. He has a fantastic attitude and brings with him the skills and knowledge we look for from our staff at Technics.”

Jon has over 10 years’ experience in the industry, working on a range of high profile projects including London Heathrow and Gatwick International Airports. He will be responsible for managing large projects with multiple teams, evaluating new Ground Penetrating Radar systems, software and playing a key role in supporting the Technics surveyor training programme.
