Technics has appointed RICS Chartered Surveyor Juila Stolle to add to our expertise in the field of boundary surveys and support development of the company’s property department.

We are delighted that Julia has joined the team; she has eight years’ experience in boundary demarcation and dispute resolution and in her new role as a consultant, she will work alongside the company’s property manager, Adam Harwood, in project delivery. She has a wealth of experience on small and large scale projects, including working in the private sector carrying out topographic surveys, engineering surveys, and office-based surveying analysis. Julia is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and the Academy of Experts (MAE).

Her appointment and the expansion of boundary dispute resolution services is the next phase in the Technics’ growth strategy to develop a full-service property department. This will offer clients a broader range of resolution services, such as right to light and estates management. As part of this strategy, Technics will support the team through the RICS qualification, in line with the company’s commitment to training.

Julia said: “I am thrilled to be joining Technics. The company has a reputation for implementing the best solutions to rectify boundary and right of way problems to avoid serious dispute. The team are experts in providing the professional advice needed to identify and clarify any misunderstandings or misinterpretations in regards to the paper-title documents or Land Registry plans.”

John Macintyre, Managing Director, said: “Julia is joining us at an exciting time as we look to grow our expertise and deliver a wider range of dispute resolution services to clients. Her qualifications and skills gained through her RICS qualification will be integral in providing advice to clients who are engaged in complex boundary issues; we look forward to continuing to work with her as a valuable member of the Technics team.”

In her previous role, Julia gained 8 years’ experience in boundary solution and demarcation, developing boundary surveys and providing initial assessments on boundary issues for clients and solicitors. In 2000, she graduated from the Technical University of Berlin with an MSc in Civil Engineering and was then based in Cambodia as part of a Land Management Project.

Outside of providing boundary solutions, Julia enjoys being outdoors, going for a run in the rural areas of Winchester, walking and cycling with her young family.
