As part of the upgrade from 2 to 3 carriage trains Technics Group provided essential Utility Surveys at 26 sites around stations along the Docklands Light Railway. The surveys were used as the basis to design the platform extensions and to plan utility diversions. Radio location and tight ground penetrating radar grids were used to produce detailed surveys of the various complex and challenging sites.
