Geophysical Surveys

Geophysical surveys can be undertaken using many different sensing instruments with data being collected either above or below the ground surface.

The technologies used include: – seismic reflection or refraction, magnetometry, electromagnetic, microgravity, radar and resistivity. These methods are generally non invasive and can be used to locate building footings, fuel storage tanks, caves and solution features, mine workings, tunnels and cellars, unexploded ordinance and chemical spills. Various methods can be used in buildings to determine structural problems or variations.

We can provide you with:-

  • 2D or 3D CAD drawings indicating detected features.
