Confined Space Surveys
Measured or radar surveys are sometimes required in restricted space environments. "Restricted space" means any place in which, by virtue of its enclosed nature, there arises a reasonably foreseeable specified risk. It can be any space of an enclosed nature where there is a risk of death or serious injury from hazardous substances or dangerous conditions.
Typical environments that are regarded as a confined space are:- sewers, inspection chambers, enclosed drains, silos, storage tanks and tunnels. Others may be less obvious, but can be equally dangerous, for example:- open-topped chambers, pits & trenches, poorly ventilated rooms & basements, combustion chambers & flues in furnaces etc;
Technics Group has specially trained operatives and intrinsically safe equipment which allows us to safely operate in these environments.
We can provide you with:-
- Safe working systems and method statements
- 2D and 3D drawings
- Photographs
- Written Reports
