What is a Land Survey and how is a survey undertaken?

Land Survey is the process of accurately measuring either the outside or internal environment and creating an accurate scaled digital drawing of the site or building.
We use modern theodolite instruments on tripods to measure distances and angles of features on site and we “plot” this digital information on computers using a Computer Aided Design package (CAD). The drawings can then be emailed to the client, along with paper copies if they wish, to use in their planning, design or development.
